Our Story.
After spending almost a decade in manufacturing and on European shop floors, the two digital natives Nils and Benedikt decided to change the way how digitization on manufacturing shop floors happen.
It all started with a conversation about state-of-the art software architecture in manufacturing during an industrial fair in Germany.
After a short time, it quickly became clear that the current solutions on the market are rarely designed with the user in mind, are thought too big and complex and do not take any advantage of good visualization as known from private life (Apps, online services, games etc.)
The idea of Productionary was born, and we quickly got positive feedback on our ‘Holothread’ software concept from potential customers in the market.
Our different approach, the obsession about the topic and the positive market signals we got have shown us that we are on the right track.

- spend almost a decade in technical sales in EMEA region
- passionate about sales, business development and workflow optimization
- besides the professional work, Benedikt likes road cycling, skiing and making his own art

- accomplished entrepreneur and technology enthusiast
- B.Sc., M.Sc., PhD in Physics at the University of Bremen
- former founder of a 3d printing software company, exited in 2021
- passionate about software development for 20 Years
